The MPL syllabus has a significant amount of simulator hours to develop the skills required of an airline pilot, in particular for MCC operations and threat and error management.
According to IATA's best practices for MPL Implementation, "it is advisable to use a FSTD based on the flight model of a modern twin engine multi-crew transport category aeroplane".
The entrol A32 / Twin Jet Engine FNPT II MCC matches these requirements, so it becomes a cost-effective tool to be used during the initial phases of the MPL, specially recomended for the Phase 2.
