Sky Training Aviation has purchased an A11 / B200GT FNPT II MCC from entrol

02/11/17 - Sky Training Aviation, an aviation school specialized in airline pilots training, has purchased an A11 / B200GT FNPT II MCC from entrol.

This A11 FNPT II MCC will be installed in Boumerdès, a seaside city located about 50 km from Algiers, being the first entrol simulator in Argelia.

It simulates the King Air B200GT, equipped with Pro Line 21, a modern glass cockpit that will prepare STA's students during their transition to jet environments.

Lyes Mohammed Seghir, STA's CEO, explains why they chose entrol: "We have chosen entrol for its geographical proximity to Algeria and the quick and professional handling of our needs. Entrol offered us a unique product of good quality that simulates the King Air B200GT. "

"In addition to that entrol offers a wide range of services and remote assistance", he concludes.

STA will use the simulator for IR, MCC, JOT and B200GT additional training.

Helikorea acquires a H19 / AW109 FTD Level 5 entrol simulator.

05/10/17 - entrol has received an order for a H19 / AW109 FTD Level 5 simulator from Helikorea.

This H19 FTD Level 5 based on the AW109 will be the first entrol simulator to be installed in South Korea, in the city of Daejeon.

The FTD is equipped with a cylindrical visual system, a South Korean database with satellite imagery and entrol mission™ with SAR and EMS scenarios.

“We are glad that Helikorea has trusted us for their first helicopter simulator and we hope this is the beginning of a long term relationship” said Nacho Navacerrada, business manager of entrol.

The reason of their choice explained by Jang D.S, General Manager of Helikorea “The entrol H19 / AW109 FTD Level 5 meets all our requirements and we believe it will enhance the training of Helikorea's pilots. We will use the simulator for initial and advanced training, IFR, procedures and mission operations.”

entrol has certified its first H135 T2+ FTD level 2 simulator for HUTC

21/09/17 - Last June, Héli-Union Training Center certified its entrol H135 T2+ FTD Level 2 simulator.

It is equipped with a spherical visual and a vibration system that allows pilots to feel real effects in the cockpit such us vortex ring, turbulence or ground contact.

The simulator has 3-axis autopilot, ACAS, weather radar and dual GTN 750 to provide PBN training.

Another key feature is the high resolution database of the southwest of France and Angouleme, with satellite imagery, oil rigs, boats, detailed mountain areas and hospitals.

Thanks to this new FTD level 2, Heli-Union's simulator training program is now enhanced with credits for QT H135 VFR / IR and TRI H135. They will also keep providing their existing CPL, IR and MCC courses.

In words of Hervé Maugis, deputy Director of HUTC, " We are very happy with our decision to contract entrol for the development of our simulator which is becoming a key-factor in our business development. We are convinced that the FTDs are going to be the perfect tool for training light or even medium-size helicopters ".

European Flyers has purchased to entrol the first en-1000 FNPT II simulator

08/08/17European Flyers, one of the best known flight schools in Spain, has purchased to entrol an en-1000 FNPT II simulator.

The en-1000 FNPT II is the latest fixed-wing simulator developed by entrol. It is a reconfigurable FNPT between SEP and MEP, equipped with a GTN 650 and exchangeable glass & analogicackpit.

The en-1000, designed to match the budget & training needs of flight schools, will allow European Flyers to keep improving their simulators fleet, so they can train their pilots with the best technology.

This first en-1000 unit is under production and it will be installed at the European Flyers's Mutxamel base by the end of 2017.

Coptering has purchased an entrol H11 / H135 FNPT II MCC simulator

04/07/17 - Coptering has purchased to entrol a new H11 / H135 FNPT II MCC simulator, being the first flight school in Spain to have this simulator.

It will be equipped with dual GTN 750, that will allow Coptering to offer a training adjusted to the current pilot needs, so they can learn to perform LPV & LNAV approaches.

It will also have an entrol vibration system that will improve the experience of being in the simulator by providing feedback of different flight conditions.

The installation will be at Coptering's base located in Sabadell Airport, 15 minutes from Barcelona.

With this acquisition, Coptering will add to its current fleet a high-end simulator to provide an advance training in their CPL, IR & MCC courses. CESDA purchases entrol A32 Twin Jet FNPT II MCC simulator


14/06/2017 - entrol has been awarded a contract by CESDA to provide an entrol A32 Twin Jet FNPT II MCC simulator. CESDA is the first center in Spain that offers a university degree combined with an EASA commercial pilot license.

This simulator will be the fourth A32 FNPT II MCC to be installed in Spain, and it will be located in the aeronautical campus of Reus. It was chosen by a committee in a competitive bid process.

The A32 Twin Jet simulator FNPT II MCC is based on the A320 and it features a 180º x 40º cylindrical visual plus a high resolution database of Spain with satellite imagery.

The acquisition of this new simulator will allow CESDA to improve the quality of their 60h MCC course and the training in the Bachelor’s Degree in Commercial Aviation Pilot and Air Operations. At the same time they will be able to offer Jet Orientation adjusted to the training requirements of airlines and operators.

“We are glad that we have been selected as the simulator supplier to CESDA.” said Luis Olarte, CEO of Entrol. “They are one of the most important schools in Europe, and for us this is an important step forward to consolidate ourselves as one of the main FNPT manufacturers in the world."
